About STU

Stu Tyrrell is a classically trained vocalist and award-winning guitarist based in Sydney, with a deep passion for both teaching and performing. He holds AMEB grades in Singing and Musicianship, and began his formal music education with a Diploma of Music Technology at the University of New England. He is currently completing a Bachelor of Music – Performance (Classical Guitar) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

With a unique blend of classical technique and contemporary artistry, Stu has brought his Celtic-infused singer-songwriter solo show to folk clubs and festivals across Australia. He also showcases his versatility as the fretless bass player for death metal band DEIFORMITY.

Stu’s diverse musical background and dedication to music education make him a dynamic and inspiring teacher for students of all ages and skill levels.
